Judy A. LaBuhn, 71, of Sterling Heights, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born Sept. 6, 1936, in Monroe.
Mrs. LaBuhn enjoyed gardening and once received the City of Sterling Heights Beautification Award. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and baking each grandchild their favorite pie.
Her family said she devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. LaBuhn is survived by her best friend, Paul LaBuhn; children, Karen (John) Balch, Kathy (Mike) Tickner, Janet Lembach and Mary Beth (Vince) Harwood; grandchildren, Jake, Johnny, Jesse, Sarah, Amanda, Michael, Jessica (Alex), Kelli, Allison and Kyle; and siblings, Mickey (Al) Skuratovich, Mary Jo (Tom) Workman, Dan (Lorraine) Mercure, Tom (Pat) Mercure and Sue (Les) Messer.
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township, with the Rev. Gary Morelli officiating. Visitation is 10 a.m.-noon Saturday.
