| Carl Heinrich Theodor Labuhn, his wife Maria Dorothea Helena Jiske, children Mary Labuhn (left), John Friederich Labuhn (behind), Dorothe H. Labuhn (father´s lap), Anna Labuhn (mother´s lap). The first picture is my great grandfather Labuhn and his family. My grandfather is the little boy in the back and I am assuming that this picture was taken about 1878. As you can see my great grandfather has his right leg propped on a stand. The story has been told to me was that he hurt it when they were clearing the land to farm by hitting it with an axe and he could not straighten it out at times because it was so stiff. My one cousin does remember seeing those stands on the farm when he would visit. [Kevin Labuhn] |
| Labuhn family home. This picture was taken at the LABUHN family home. The man is my grandfather, his mother is the women to the far right. The other women are his sisters and the children I think are the first born grandchildren. The next picture has the other sister who is not in this picture. [Kevin Labuhn] |
| Labuhn family home. This picture was probably taken the same day as they have the same
clothes on. It was taken about 1901-1902. The other sister is in this picture. [Kevin Labuhn].
